Move-out clean of a T2 on Campo Grande after a year with no professional clean
The flat had gone more than a year without a professional clean, so every deposit had set hard: nothing was scrubbed off, it was dissolved — apply, let it dwell, work it, rinse, apply again. The calcium in the shower and on the toilet gave way only on the fourth or fifth pass. Under the kitchen units, grease, dust and dirt had baked into a sticky film lifted out by hand from places a cloth does not reach. The appliances had stood untouched for years — oven, extractor, even the washing machine was furred with scale — and the blocked drains were cleared. The windows were washed clean, every pane gone over twice until the film lifted. Balcony frames were steamed and brushed back from ingrained dirt and paint. All the furniture is white, so it was gone over detail by detail. Walls were taken back with melamine sponges, floors and joints with a steam vacuum. Two professionals, ten hours, finished the same day.
